Thank you
Ages: U9*, U10, U11
Academy Soccer's main emphasis is on skill development: the personal technical soccer skills the player needs to advance in soccer.
The commitment level is higher than in the HYSL (recreational league); there is travel and players practice at least twice a week and play games against other clubs or extended sessions at home fields on Saturdays. Saturdays and Sundays if at a tournament.
*U9s; anyone wishing to register a U9-year-old should contact Phil at info@helenasoccer.org.
*Generally, U9s need to be in third grade, and have a birth date before June 30th of their birth year. U9s when their birth year reaches U10 per USYS they will remain as an U10.
See the Registration page for program registration fees. Players do need to purchase a uniform separately from the program fees. Uniforms are usually updated every two years.
Academy teams will play a travel schedule and play in our local tournaments that are included in the program fees. Efforts are made to keep travel close to home for matches.
